A poor Thursday at Clonmel saw Elusive Ogie finish 5th in a race won by Ballycashin who beat Dairy Force by 1 1/4 lengths while the other pick Speculatrix was a non-runner.
A Friday double header sees 7 races at both Sligo and Dundalk with 2 standing out.
Sligo 4.55: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Hurdle.
1: Additional Time: A fair horse who despite crossing the line in first place was demoted to second after a stewards enquiry at Thurles a week ago. He disputed the lead at the last moving to the front for a second time on the line but causing interference in the process. He should make amends here and open his account.
Dundalk 7.15: Bar One Racing Mercury Stakes (Group 3.)
12: Star Of Lady M: A useful mare who's best performance so far this season was a 3rd in the Beverley bullet in August. She was last seen finishing 9th in a Group 1 at Longchamp 19 days ago being left with too much to do late on. Despite not being seen at her best lately she can still win here improving on her 6th place finish in this race 12 months ago.
