Wednesday's winner at Dundalk was Ocean Manifest. The 8/13 favourite made all the running asserting himself from 2 out, he was 3 lengths clear in the closing stages keeping on well to beat Seola by 4 1/4 lengths. In the other race Fox In Flight was 3rd with the contest going to Alissam who beat Now Maybe by a nose.
There are 8 races at Punchestown on Thursday where we have 2 highlights.
2.45: Thank You David Betts Photography Handicap Hurdle.
1: Powerful: A lightly-raced horse who was a very good 3rd at Navan on his return 54 days ago. He was in midfield early sitting fifth 3 out, he moved into third but a mistake soon after saw a challenge end. He makes his handicap hurdle debut here and with improvement expected he can open his account.
3.18: Connolly's Red Mills Irish EBF Auction Maiden Hurdle.
2: Yeshil: A good horse who was 2nd on debut here before finishing 8th on his first hurdles start at Leopardstown back in December. He was 3rd at halfway but wasn’t fluent from 3 out having no extra approaching the straight. He travelled well for a long way there and despite being off since he is a big player here who should pick up a 1st career win.
