29/12/25 Leopardstown & Limerick

Sunday's winner was Final Demand. The 1/3 favourite made all the running asserting himself from 2 out, he kept on well from the last easily beating Gold Dancer by 8 lengths. Over at Leopardstown both my picks finished 3rd. In the Christmas Hurdle Ballyburn was 2nd early but dropped to 3rd three out, he took 2nd soon after but made no impression before the last. Upfront Teahupoo beat Bob Olinger by 7 lengths. Galopin Des Champs travelled well to lead from 2 out, the 6/5 favourite was passed before the last dropping to 3rd in the closing stages. Affordale Fury won beating I Am Maximus by 2 1/2 lengths.

Eight races at Leopardstown top the bill on Monday with 2 highlights.

1.22: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Kerrymount Mares Hurdle (Grade 3.)

1: Wodhooh: A smart horse who didn't need to be at her best when winning the grade 2 Ascot Hurdle 37 days ago. She led after the last soon going clear and beating Celtic Dino by 2 1/2 lengths. She has an excellent hurdles record and can add to that here picking up a 9th career win.

2.32: December Hurdle (Grade 1.)

8: Lossiemouth: A fine horse who has been a course and distance winner. She was last seen winning the Morgiana at Punchestown making all the running and easily coming home by 19 lengths. She is the standout in this field and should complete a 4-timer here.

There are also 8 races at Limerick where in the 1.07 my pick is number 11 Combs.
