Neither of Saturday's tips ran because the meeting at Fairyhouse was abandoned after temperatures dropped to -3 overnight making parts of the track unfit for racing. The card has been rearranged for Wednesday.
We move onto Punchestown on Sunday where on a 7 race card there are 2 main events.
12.50: Sky Bet Super Sub Novice Chase (Grade 3.)
3: Predators Gold: A useful horse over hurdles who impressed after a long break when winning on fences debut at Navan 36 days ago. He led narrowly from 2 out keeping on well under pressure and coming home by 1 1/2 lengths. Despite this being a step up in class he should follow up.
2.20: Sky Bet Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle (Grade 2.)
4: Sober: A smart horse who was last seen winning the Queen Alexandra at Royal Ascot back in June. He led from a furlong out quickening in the closing stages and easily winning by 5 lengths. With more to come in this sphere he can complete a hat-trick for Willie Mullins here.
