Friday's winner at Dundalk was Bryant. The 11/8 favourite was 2nd early travelling well to lead 1 1/2 out, he stayed on strongly beating Dallas Star by 1 1/2 lengths. The days other pick Instant Appeal was fifth in a race won by Carolina Jetstream who beat Little Empire by 3/4 of a length.
On Saturday there are 7 races at Navan where we have 2 features.
12.10: Race Displays Rated Novice Hurdle.
2: Lazare De Star: A lightly-raced horse who opened his account at Leopardstown 20 days ago. He was 2nd at halfway leading approaching the straight, he asserted himself before the last easily coming home by 4 1/4 lengths. He goes back down in trip here and with improvement likely he can follow up.
1.20: Navan Handicap Hurdle.
3: Son Of Anarchy: A decent horse who picked up a career best win at Punchestown on his last outing 56 days ago. He was 3rd two out leading at the last staying on well and comfortably winning by 7 1/2 lengths. Further progress is expected and despite a hefty 10lb weight rise he should win again here and give his trainer a second successive victory in this race.
