The best on a very poor Monday at Ballinrobe came from See Me Through who was 5th In a race won by La Dame Blanche who beat Mr Lincoln by 1 1/2 lengths. In the other race Thompson Gunner was 8th with the contest going to Presence who beat Tanazadia by 3 1/2 lengths.
There is a second day at Ballinrobe on Tuesday with 8 races and 2 features.
6.53: Boylesports Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap Hurdle.
1: Ankud: A decent horse who returned after 6 months off to win on handicap debut at Sligo 16 days ago. He led narrowly from 3 out asserting himself soon after, despite having a reduced advantage at the last he kept on well on the run-in coming home by 1 3/4 lengths. He has to contend with a weight rise here but that shouldn't stop him following up.
7.23: Sweeney Oil Handicap Hurdle (Div 1)
7: The Nagger Reidy: A lightly-raced horse who was 6th at Navan when last seen back in December. He definitely wasn't disgraced that day and with improvement expected and going up in trip he can show his ability here and take this on handicap debut.
