24/7/24 Wexford & Naas

Another poor day at Ballinrobe saw Ankud finish 6th in a race won by Flidais who beat Early Arrival by 1 1/4 lengths while in the later race The Nagger Reidy was a non-runner.

A busy Wednesday sees 7 races at Wexford and 8 at Naas with 3 main events.

Wexford 4.58: Support The Irish Injured Jockeys Fund Handicap Chase.

16: Marronstown: A good-looking horse who picked up a career best win at Punchestown on his last outing 46 days ago. He led from 5 out and was well clear at the last, he stayed on strongly easily coming home by 8 lengths. That performance impressed and he is worth a chance to follow up here.

Naas 5.18: Arqana Irish EBF Marwell Stakes.

5: Miss Lamai: A promising horse who has one win from three runs this year. That came at Thirsk in April and she continued her improvement when 4th in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot last month. On form she sets the standard here and with more to come she can win again.

Naas 6.20: Yeomanstown Stud Irish EBF Stakes.

1: Amazon Lady: A useful filly who achieved a career best victory at The Curragh 24 days ago. She made all the running keeping on well in the final furlong winning by 1 1/2 lengths. She can step up again here and complete a hat-trick.
