On an excellent Thursday at Punchestown both my picks won. In the early race Kurasso Blue was 2nd early leading from 4 out, the 7/2 shot asserted himself before the last and despite having a reduced advantage close to home he beat Ballygunner Castle by 1 1/2 lengths. The days listed contest saw Echoing Silence track the leaders getting to the front entering the straight, she kept on well in the closing stages beating Switch From Diesel by 2 3/4 lengths.
On Friday there are 8 races at Dundalk with 2 main events.
4.45: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race.
6: Final Melody: A smart horse who showed improvement to win over course and distance 3 weeks ago. He led early asserting himself from a furlong out, he kept on strongly coming home by 3 lengths. That was only his second all-weather start so with plenty more to come he can follow up here.
6.15: Irish EBF Median Sires Series Fillies Maiden.
2: Great Plains Lady: A fair horse who was 4th on this course on debut 14 days ago. She was in midfield sitting 7th two out, she improved to take 4th soon after keeping on at the same pace. The step up in trip here will suit and she should open her account.
