She is dropped into maiden company here which should be in her favour and she can make a winning return.

8/10/25 Navan

Tuesday's best at Galway came from Ladiam who was 3rd. The 10/3 shot was 2nd at halfway but after jumping slightly left at the last she had no extra weakening soon after, upfront Kilashee won beating Grace Feraday by an easy 11 lengths. In the other race Sporting Glance failed to finish falling at the 1st.

Navan stages 8 races on Wednesday with 2 highlights.

3.52: Navan Racecourse Welcomes Our Local Community Maiden.

5: Ex Animo: A well-bred newcomer who is related to Serenity Prayer and 1000 Guineas and Oaks winner Love. He represents a yard who have won the last 3 runnings of this race and he should continue their fine record here.

4.24: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap.

1: Tachos: A promising horse who's last win came at Leopardstown in June. She returned there to finish 5th 25 days ago leading from 1 1/2 out but being passed inside the final furlong having no extra. She was 3rd in this race 12 months ago and has an excellent chance to win it this time around.

7/10/25 Galway

Monday's winner came at Killarney where Alphecca was 3rd approaching halfway making headway to lead from 2 out, the 85/40 favourite asserted herself soon after keeping on well in the closing stages beating Honouramongthieves by 5 lengths. Over at Tipperary Flashaway was a non-runner.

On Tuesday there are 7 races at Galway with 2 features.

3.20: Ryans Cleaning Novice Handicap Hurdle.

1: Sporting Glance: A decent horse who made a winning handicap start over course and distance in September. He followed up taking victory at Downpatrick 18 days ago where he led from 2 out going clear at the last, he stayed on well comfortably winning by 7 lengths. He can still improve and can complete a hat-trick here.

3.50: Guinness Mares Handicap Hurdle.

4: Ladiam: A fair horse who last won at Sligo in June. She got back on track after a poor run when a creditable 2nd at Navan 2 weeks ago where she was 4th before the last improving to take 2nd inside the final furlong. She runs off the same mark here and can resume winning ways.

6/10/25 Killarney & Tipperary

On Sunday at Tipperary both my picks won. Gaucher led for a second time on the run-in being left in front after a horse unseated his rider, the 13/8 favourite pulled away beating Jessie Evans by 5 lengths. In the other Grade 3 Gold Dancer led before the 5th and despite being strongly pressed from 2 out the 4/9 favourite soon went clear easily beating Downmexicoway by 8 lengths. Over at Killarney Friary Road failed to finish being pulled up 2 out.

There are 7 races at both Killarney and Tipperary on Monday with 2 standing out.

Killarney 1.38: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.

7: Alphecca: A useful horse who improved from her debut when finishing 3rd at Naas 18 days ago. She made progress from 2 out soon sitting 5th, she kept on at the same pace in the closing stages picking up a couple of places. The step up in trip here will definitely suit and she can open her account.

Tipperary 1.50: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle.

1: Flashaway: A good horse who won on debut and wasn't disgraced on her first run for a new yard when 5th at Fairyhouse back in February. With plenty more to come she can build on that here and on her return can pick up a 2nd career win.

5/10/25 Tipperary & Killarney

On Saturday both my picks won. At The Curragh Carla Ridge made headway from 2 out leading soon after, the 10/3 favourite asserted herself in the closing stages comfortably beating Navassa Island by 10 lengths. Over at Gowran Park Western Fold was 2nd 4 out recovering from a slight mistake to lead from 2 out, the 5/6 favourite kept on well beating Affordale Fury by 4 1/4 lengths.

An 8 race card at Tipperary takes centre stage on Sunday with 2 main events.

3.53: Horse & Jockey Hotel Hurdle (Grade 3.)

1: Gaucher: A fair horse who was last seen finishing 5th in the Galway Hurdle back in July. He led early and was 2nd at halfway, he made no impression before the last keeping on at one pace. He makes his return here for a yard who won this race last year and he can continue their good form.

5.00: ODS Engineering Novice Chase (Grade 3.)

1: Gold Dancer: A promising horse who has improved over fences this year winning twice his latest coming in a Grade 3 at Galway 66 days ago. He recovered from a mistake to sit 3rd at halfway and despite coming under pressure he challenged leading close to home and winning by 2 1/2 lengths. Further improvement is likely and he can complete the hat-trick here.

There are also 7 races at Killarney where in the 2.59 my pick is number 1 Friary Road.

4/10/25 The Curragh & Gowran Park

Friday's winner came at Gowran Park where Liadawn sat 2nd approaching halfway making progress to lead from 2 out, the 8/11 favourite was passed soon after but travelled well to lead for a second time in the final 100 yards keeping on well to beat Maximillian Lady by 2 lengths. At Dundalk Ipanema Queen didn't run because the meeting was abandoned due to high winds and safety concerns. The meeting has yet to be rearranged.

There is another double header on Saturday which sees 8 races at both The Curragh and Gowran Park with 2 topping the bill.

The Curragh 2.17: Darley Irish EBF Brigid's Pastures Stakes.

6: Carla Ridge: A decent horse who has run well this season at Naas finishing 2nd in a listed race and 3rd in a pair of group three's. She disappointed on this course last time not being seen at her best but she can improve on that here and win for a 2nd time in her career.

Gowran Park 4.15: PWC Champion Chase (Grade 2.)

5: Western Fold: A smart chaser who completed a hat-trick with a career best win in the Galway plate 66 days ago. He was 2nd at halfway leading at the last, he kept on well in the closing stages coming home by 4 1/2 lengths. He should take the step up in his stride and is the one to beat here.

A busy Friday sees 7 races at both Gowran Park and Dundalk with 2 highlights.

Gowran Park 5.30: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mucklemeg Mares Flat Race.

3: Liadawn: A well-bred horse who impressed when winning on debut at Downpatrick in June. She travelled well leading from 2 out, she stayed on strongly on the run-in easily coming home by 10 lengths. Improvement is expected and she can follow up here.

Dundalk 6.30: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Legacy Stakes.

7: Ipanema Queen:A smart horse who's last victory came in a listed race at The Curragh in August where she asserted herself from a furlong out and despite being strongly pressed she held on to win by a head. Her two runs since can be overlooked and if back to her best here she has an excellent chance to pick up a 3rd career win.

2/10/25 Bellewstown & Clonmel

On Wednesday both my picks finished 2nd. At Sligo Clonshire River led early having a  10 length advantage at halfway, that was reduced from 4 out and the 2/1 favourite was strongly pressed being passed on the run-in by Sayitfirst who won by 3 1/2 lengths. In the race at Bellewstown Escaping Thejungle led for a second time two out but the 5/2 favourite was passed soon after by Nezeeh who won by 1/2 a length.

There are 8 races at Bellewstown and 7 at Clonmel on Thursday with 2 features.

Bellewstown 4.15: Kilsaran Race.

2: Angelo Pio: A useful colt who's last win came at Down Royal in June. He was a good 3rd at The Curragh 40 days ago where he sat 4th at halfway making progress from 2 out, he still had a chance in the final 100 yards but couldn't reach the front two. He just gets the vote here and can achieve a 3rd career win.

Clonmel 5.00: Irish Stallion Farms EBF Captain Christy Rated Novice Chase.

2: Queen Of Mercy: A good horse who won on fences debut at Kilbeggan 27 days ago. She was 4th approaching halfway making progress into 2nd two out, she led at the last keeping on well and coming home by 7 1/2 lengths. A repeat of that performance should be enough to complete a hat-trick here.

3/12/25 Dundalk

Tuesday's winner at Clonmel was Staffordshire Knot. The 8/13 favourite sat 2nd challenging at the 9th, he led approaching the straight ...
