1/8/25 Galway

Thursday's winner at Galway was Ndaawi. The 13/2 shot was 7th at halfway improving into 2nd two out, he disputed the lead at the last but found himself short of room in the closing stages.  Galway continues on Friday with 8 races and 2 standing out.

He was a bit below form when 9th at Punchestown on his return 91 days ago where he led early but was passed after the 3rd weakening from 2 out. That run was needed and he will improve picking up a third career win here.

6.35: Guinness Handicap.

6: Cloud Seeker: A decent horse who's last win came at Leopardstown in May. He was a good 2nd behind the reopposing Fleetfoot at The Curragh 33 days ago where he led until he was strongly pressed 2 out being passed close to home only going down by a neck. He can build on that here and resume winning ways.
